The primary concept in fundraising for any church is not the raising of dollars; it is the making of disciples. We make disciples and teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded them to do (Matthew 28:19-20). Jesus commanded his followers to give (Matthew 6:2), and affirms the practice of tithing (Matthew 23:23). Additionally, the Apostle Paul clearly considered generous, joyful giving as a fundamental application to Jesus’ sacrifice (2 Corinthians 8:9).
At Walking on the Water Ministries our desire is to make disciples who joyfully participate in financially supporting the work of the church.
